RTI Applications Partner Organisation : Mount Valley Development Association Supported by : Asha Workshop Report Aug 8th - 9th 2010 – The workshop was organized in Sairas and Dubri villages bythe NGO, Mount Valley Development Association,with the support of the MCF and in conjunction with the Baal Panchayats of the villages. There were a total of 32 members.
Participants View- Mukesh from Bal Panchayat Dubri said “I will discuss the Right to Information Act in my village and school”. Kavita from Bal Panchayat Sairas said "this kind of training on the Right to Information Act should be provided in more villages." Mangal Singh from Bal Panchayat Dubri said "before this workshop we did not know about this Act. But with the help of this act we can solve the problems of our village." Babita from Bal Panchayat Sairas said "our parents discussed various issues in the village panchayat meeting but the problems have not been solved. Now through the RTI we the children can play our role for the development of the community."
Aug 12th - 13th 2010 –The workshop was organized in Chaura village by the NGO, Mount Valley Development Association,with the support of the MCF and in conjunction with the Baal Panchayat of the village. There were a total of 35 members.
Participants View- Kavita from Bal Panchayat Chaura said,“Before this workshop I did not know about the Right to Information Act”. Arvind from Bal Panchayat Chaura said, “this kind of training on the Right to Information Act should be provided in the schools too”. Dev Lal from Bal Panchayat Chaura said, “before this workshop we did not know about this Act. But with the help of this act we can solve the problems of our village”. Sahil from Bal Panchayat Chaura , “we can use the RTI for the betterment of our village”.
Aug 15th - 16th 2010 –The workshop was organized in Karkheda village by the NGO, Mount Valley Development Association,with the support of the MCF and in conjunction with the Baal Panchayat of the village. There were a total of 32 members.
Participants View- Krishna Kumar from Bal Panchayat Karkhedi said "before this workshop I did not know how to file an RTI application but now I know how to." Akshay Kumar from Bal Panchayat Karkhedi said “this kind of training on the Right to Information Act should be provided in other villages and schools” Bikram Lal from Bal Panchayat Karkhedi said “before this workshop we had heard about the RTI act but did not know the process. Now we know the process and we can solve the problems of our village through the RTI." Ajay Kumar from Bal Panchayat Karkhedi said "we can use the RTI in our village and we can share our knowledge during our village."
Aug 22nd - 23rd 2010 –The workshop was organized in Khaseti village by the NGO, Mount Valley Development Association,with the support of the MCF and in conjunction with the Baal Panchayats of the village. There were a total of 34 members.
Participants View- Anil from Bal Panchayat Gadetha said “before this workshop I did not know about Right to Information Act but now I know about it” Anmol from Bal Panchayat Gadetha said “this kind of training on the Right to Information Act should be provided in more villages and schools.” Hemant from Bal Panchayat Khaseti said “ this kind of training should be provided to the women of the village as well."
Sept 17th - 18th 2010 –The workshop was organized in Kandar Gaon by the NGO, Mount Valley Development Association,with the support of the MCF and in conjunction with the Baal Panchayats of the Kandar Gaon and Gawana village. There were a total of 46 members.
Participants View- Jay Kapoor from Bal Panchayat Gawana said “ This type of workshop should be held in the schools also”. Vasudev from Bal Panchayat Gawana said “Before this workshop I did not know about the Right to Information Act but now I know about it. Now we can solve the problems of our own village." Praveen Kumar from Bal Panchayat Kandar Gaon said “After learning about the right to information and using it we can share it with communities and villages close by as well. We can also solve the problems of our own village and those of the surrounding villages." |
