Workshop Report

Oct 2nd – 3rd 2010 – The workshop was organized in Joolan village by the Horrawala Baal Panchayat and the MCF. There were a total of 32 members.

Atul Miyan a young boy who was looking at the training from outside the training hall said, “I want to learn about the Right to Information Act”. The facilitators then invited him in and he has now even made his own Bal Panchayat

Sri Gulab Singh Negi, village Joolon expressed his happiness about the workshop and the initiative taken by the children. He said the RTI that the children have filed would definitely help towards solving some of the many problems of their village.
